Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Aurevian Labs collects, uses, stores, and protects personal information when individuals browse the website, submit a consultation request, purchase a consulting service, or otherwise communicate with the practice.
1. Scope and responsibility
This policy applies to personal information handled through this website and through the delivery of remote creative consulting, branding consulting, digital content strategy, workshops, project reviews, and ongoing advisory services. Aurevian Labs acts as the business responsible for deciding why and how this information is used. This policy does not govern a client’s own websites, software, payment provider, scheduling provider, or other third-party services.
2. Information we collect
We may collect information that a visitor or client provides directly, including name, business name, email address, telephone number, billing details, selected service, project description, preferred schedule, files, creative references, feedback, and correspondence. When a project is accepted, we may also maintain contracts, invoices, payment status, project notes, meeting summaries, deliverables, and records of approvals.
Basic technical information may be generated when the website is visited, including IP address, browser type, device type, approximate region, referring page, pages viewed, date and time, and cookie or similar preference data. We do not request sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for a specific engagement and expressly agreed in advance.
3. How information is obtained
Information may be obtained from website forms, consultation booking communications, direct correspondence, online meetings, project documents, payment and invoicing providers, or information that a business representative makes available for the requested engagement. We may also receive limited information from service providers that help operate the website, schedule meetings, process payments, store project files, or maintain business records.
4. Purposes of use
- Review and respond to consultation and project inquiries.
- Prepare proposals, service scopes, schedules, contracts, and invoices.
- Deliver agreed consulting sessions, workshops, reviews, recommendations, and written materials.
- Maintain project continuity, document client decisions, and provide support.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and internal business processes.
- Comply with tax, accounting, recordkeeping, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and legal obligations.
- Send service-related messages and, where permitted, relevant business updates. Promotional messages may be declined at any time.
5. Legal and business grounds
Depending on the location and context, information is processed because it is necessary to take steps requested before entering an agreement, perform a consulting agreement, comply with law, protect legitimate business and security interests, or act with consent. Where consent is the basis, it may be withdrawn prospectively. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing already completed or information that must be retained for lawful business records.
6. Sharing and service providers
Personal information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with providers supporting website hosting, communications, scheduling, cloud storage, invoicing, payment processing, bookkeeping, analytics, security, and professional advice. These providers receive only the information needed for their function and are expected to protect it. Information may also be disclosed when required by valid legal process, to protect rights or safety, in connection with a business reorganization, or with the individual’s direction.
Aurevian Labs does not sell personal information and does not rent client contact lists. Project content is not published as a portfolio example or case study without permission or an applicable written agreement.
7. Payments
Payments may be handled by an independent payment processor. The processor may collect payment card, bank, identity, and transaction information under its own privacy terms. Aurevian Labs generally receives confirmation, payer details, transaction reference, amount, and payment status rather than complete card or bank credentials.
8. Retention
Inquiry information that does not lead to an engagement is retained only as long as reasonably useful for follow-up, security, and business administration. Client records may be kept for the duration of the relationship and afterward for contract, tax, accounting, professional, and dispute purposes. Creative files may be deleted, archived, or returned according to the engagement terms. Information is removed or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to backups and legal retention requirements.
9. Security
Reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards are used to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, loss, alteration, misuse, or disclosure. Measures may include access controls, reputable service providers, secure account practices, backups, and limited internal access. No website, email system, online meeting, or cloud service can be guaranteed completely secure, and clients should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary forms or email.
10. International processing
Remote consulting and cloud services may involve processing in the United States and other countries where service providers operate. Privacy rules may differ between jurisdictions. When required, reasonable contractual or operational safeguards are used for cross-border processing.
11. Individual choices and rights
Subject to applicable law, an individual may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about the categories and use of personal information. An individual may also object to certain uses or withdraw consent. Requests should identify the person and the relevant relationship with sufficient detail. Identity verification may be required, and some information may be retained where law or legitimate recordkeeping obligations permit.
Residents of jurisdictions with specific privacy rights may submit a request using the contact information below. Aurevian Labs will not discriminate against an individual for making a good-faith privacy request.
12. Cookies and browser controls
The website may use essential cookies or local storage for navigation, security, theme preferences, and form behavior. Limited analytics may be used to understand website performance. Additional details appear in the Cookie Policy. Browser controls can block or remove cookies, although some preferences or functionality may then be unavailable.
13. Children
The website and consulting services are intended for adults and business representatives. They are not directed to children under 13, and personal information from children is not knowingly collected. If such information is identified, a parent or guardian may request review and deletion.
14. Policy changes
This policy may be revised to reflect changes in services, website operations, providers, or legal requirements. The version displayed on this page governs use after publication. Material changes may be communicated through the website or directly where appropriate.
